About me

I love storytelling, and have been practicing amateur writing for over two decades (not to mention a Master's in English). A couple years back I was introduced to D&D 5e and immediately fell in love with it as a storytelling medium. I love facilitating personalized stories for my players, even if we're just playing a simple pre-published module I prefer to add in homebrew details to augment plots and really make the story feel like theirs. While I don't mind veteran players at my table, I absolutely love helping to teach newcomers to the genre the ropes as well as igniting their passion for the possibilities this kind of gaming unlocks. What will grind my gears is refusing to be a team p-layer as well as deliberately trying to break the world, but these are expectations that should be hashed out in a session zero anyways. GM style

I enjoy roleplay and will often try to do voices as best I can. While I'm generally lenient on players in combat, I also believe that death doesn't have to be the end of a story. Your character's story is important to you, and therefore it's important to me, and I want to help you tell the best story you can. I also love sprinkling in magic items to see if players can get creative.
