About me
Hi I'm John, But you can call me Carzar when I DM. I am a huge fan of TTRPGs, movies, books, philosophy, art, Physics, and other nerdy things. I like to host games that bring people together and foster friendships. I have built a small community and I feel its important to provide a safe space for people to talk. To be themselves or someone else for a few hours. I've been telling stories since I was 5. I loved to talk about otherworldly concepts and alternate realities. My players admit that I craft detailed lore and interesting plots that have heavy themes and fun to play and shift the narrative. I am great at improvising and adapting to my players shenanigans. I have been immersed in the worlds of Forgotten realms for over 20 years now. I look forward to meeting you and as always if you have an open mind and a open heart you have a seat at my table.
GM Style
Story first mechanics second. I am great with npcs, monsters, demi gods, gods, eldergods, and of course the Old Ones... I enjoy telling player driven epic tails that show what it means to be human. I inspire people to grow and learn somthing about themselfs at my table. If you are kind hearted and driven then you have a seat at my table.

He's great at connecting the story to the player characters. Makes you feel like you have an impact on the world.

He’s the kind of DM who will allow you to make totally outrageous choices if you can come up with a logical explanation, and that allows for the craziest and the most interesting story choices to occur. He’s great with worldbuilding, so there’s always some kind of lore to mine if you’re interacting with NPCs. In fact, he does get a little sad if you don’t interact with the world, so do that. It’s lots of fun

In my experience playing with Carzar, he has a very detailed-oriented style that gives a lot of credence to the fiction of the world. There's a good feeling of structure and connection to the world because he takes the implications of his world, characters, and plot points seriously. Your actions will have consequences, be they for will or woe.
