About Cameron
Hey mates! I go by Cam or Cameron. I’ve proudly served in the military for 18 years and I’m originally from sunny Florida. I’ve been immersed in the world of tabletop gaming for 26 years, ever since I was introduced to D&D 2e, and have been a dedicated fan of the endless stories and worlds tabletop gaming makes possible. Over the years, I have explored a wide range of systems through one-shots and short campaigns, each broadened my perspective and added new tools to my GM kit. I enjoy ventures in any genre: fantasy, sci-fi, apocalyptic, urban fantasy, horror — but I’m most at home in grounded, low-magic settings where the stakes feel real and every choice matters.

My favorite system of all Time is
I like dice pool systems with the ability to manipulate the pool. Like the Storytelling's Best/Worst or Exploding dice. Free League's push mechanic is a great example. I like systems that have a cost. If I wield power incorrectly it hurts. Also low numbers! Degenesis has a great d6 pool system.
How Cameron runs games
Players in my games can expect a strong focus on vivid scene-setting and immersive storytelling. I can quickly improvise to character choices and narrative twists. I weave in decisions that highlight each character’s strengths and flaws. I manage the spotlight well so everyone is engaged and participates—even when someone splits from the party. I also handle time skips and downtime smoothly to keep the story’s momentum. Beyond general music and art, I put a lot of care into my preparation. High narrative scenes often come with dynamic extra: custom maps, artwork, soundboard effects, and carefully chosen music to heighten the mood. I like to include personalized handouts and props that enhance the immersion. Exploration and survival are central to my games. I give players the freedom to travel and investigate. The world will respond to the party's actions. I enjoy gritty, tense combat, yet always strive to make encounters feel distinct and meaningful rather than repetitive brawls. Otherwise I like to speed up small encounters with narrative. I am flexible with the rules and can adjust mechanics for smoother play or create homebrew solutions if something is missing to allow players to pull off creative actions. As for voices, I fully commit to every role; it is something I aim to improve. I change my tone and delivery to bring NPCs to life best I can. I add quirks and subtle traits that make each character feel alive.

Rules are...
Rules are constraints on what is possible in the world. It provides predictability and challenges on the narrative and drive action, and enables players to create unique characters. A great GM balances the mechanics and narrative. To maintain the scene's momentum, I will bend a rule or forgo a roll.
Cameron's ideal table
At my table, art and music shape the mood and bring the world alive. Expect danger, tough choices, and earned victories. I’m fair—I’ll let you shine, then test your flaws. Players who handle mature themes, moral grey areas, and real stakes will thrive here. Your choices always matter.
