About Callen

Hello, thank you for checking out my profile here! I'm considering running some Dungeons and Dragons 5e content and exploring this platform. Primarily, I run in person at Hoplite Games in Lansing; Adventurers League for adults and an ongoing campaign for kids. I've run probably over 2000 hours of DnD5e in the last 5 years at this point. Mostly using FoundryVTT (Roll20 in the beginning) combined with DnDBeyond. I use over 100 community modules for FoundryVTT and host the games through Forge. A lot of things are automated, and many things have visual effects! It still feels like a tabletop experience, I don't use individual lighting or vision and control fog of war on maps as the DM. I subscribe to DnDBeyond and can offer content sharing for character creation, which is also how I import to the VTT. I run combat focused "crunchy" games. Mainly the scripts from WOTC are a bit of a railroad so exploring and role play aren't as prevalent, a lot of choices are this or that instead of anything you can think of. I suspect I'll offer games I've run before which include: - Eberron: Oracle of War - Forgotten Realms AL modules and hardcovers - Rick and Morty!
