About Caleb
Hi! My name is Caleb Ince and I have been playing TTRPGs for almost a decade. The first game I ever played was in high school with some friends playing 4th edition and I loved it. A few years later, I got swept up in the 5e craze and now, I have a large group of friends who all love TTRPGs and all who have gm'ed at some point.

I became a GM because
I wanted to tell stories, and often I would get stuck on specific details or plotlines. With TTRPGs, I can often lean on the other players to fill in the gaps and have ideas where my inspiration is lacking
My favorite books are
The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfus
How Caleb runs games
The highest virtue with TTRPGs is fun. At the end of the day everyone is here to have fun. Just after that is the narrative. I love crafting an intriguing story and the fun thing about these games is that I don't have to craft these stories alone. Everyone has a voice and its a group endeavor to tell these stories. I love the opportunity to work player backstory and ideas into the narrative. The last virtue I tend to hold to is one of consequences. Narrative stakes are only powerful when things can go wrong and I think that the most interesting stories are when things go topsy-turvy.

Rules are...
A tool to promote fun. Sometimes they fail to do that, and then should be tweaked or outright ignored.
