About Braino

I've been a DM for about 4 years now, primarily through Westmarch servers as a means of having a creative outlet while I study to become a paramedic. I've enjoyed creating these worlds for players to tell their own stories within, and thought that getting paid to do so wouldn't be a bad idea! Living in Australia and I'm keen on running some 5th edition DnD, so hit me up if you're interested!

How Braino runs games

Worldbuilding. I enjoy players who like to interact with the world they're in and see how they shape it, intentionally or not. Roleplay: Big fan of roleplay, seeing players interact with allies and villains to achieve their goals. Combat: While I'm not a DM who does tactical combat or fighting for optimised builds, I do enjoy challenging combat with some level of stake to it or something dynamic that rewards creative thinking. Plus, who doesn't love cutting up some monsters every once in a while? Mystery: Whether it's solving a murder or uncovering a big overarching scheme, I'm a fan of chucking in mysteries and puzzles every once in a while. When all is said and done, my ultimate goal is for my players to have fun and have a laugh.

Love players who are keen on having a laugh while also interested in exploring a fantasy world and immersing themselves in it! Character builds don't have to be crazy or super maximised, the simpler the better for me and my brain! Grew up playing games like Skyrim, Witcher 3 and Dark Souls, while also watching other media like The Chronicles of Narnia and Game of Thrones, so if you like stuff like that, then you'll probably like my games!
