About Blankforge
Ahoy! I am a shift on the fly thinker. I like to do voices, and I love to tell stories. One of the best things about being a DM is that the story isn't mine to create. I love the idea of players doing whatever they want their characters to do. I have baby stepped many people from being "never played" to experienced player. To me, that is prolly the best part. What it boils down to is this... Do you want to keep scrolling around and watching youtube videos about DnD, or do you want to start that character that you've always thought about?

People are always surprised when I tell them
I was kidnapped as a child. Some say I should write a book, but that sounds like a campaign I already played.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Clever, reasonable, improvy
When I'm not running games I'm...
being a dad to 3 small imps i call children. I play survival craft open world games and consume YT content like The Midgar serpent eats planets.
How Blankforge runs games
Newbie friendly. Ready to be derailed. I have an array of voices that I love to use! I reward out of the box thinking. A normal session will be determined after a session 0. However I am all for a dialogue based session, or an explorothon! The amount of combat will be based on how YOU as a player interact with the world.

My games focus on...
feedback. If players tell me man today was a lot of combat... i will see if i can smooth that out next time. The best feedback in genuine feedback.
When it comes to voices
If an NPC has a voice he is either really important, or i just made him up. Sam Elliot voice for old rugged people and Deckard Cain for old wizard people. Lulu the Holyphant is someone i am struggling to find a voice for.
Blankforge's ideal table
3 to 5 people who all have characters that want to be heroes. For different reasons, from different lands, with different customs, they come for adventure. They all think independently
