About me

Hi. My name is Karl and I am a Professional Game Master from New Zealand. I specialise in 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, using Discord and Roll20 to run my games. I have a thorough knowledge of the rules and have a pragmatic approach to their application - with the 'Rule of Cool' being applied at the appropriate time. I run my games with a sense of humour. Even in the most serious games I think it is important that we laugh, because we are supposed to be having fun!

GM style

I like to think my style is adaptive to the players. I have an in-depth knowledge of the rules, and I feel like I apply them in a way that is fair and fun. I enjoy the tactical combat side of things. From starting in Adventurer's League, I learned a lot from other GMs. I also love the roleplay side of things. I love playing NPCs and I love seeing players roleplay amongst themselves.
