About me

Greetings, I am Jeremiah or any of my other online Aliases you might see... I am a DM of 5 years-ish and a player of nearly 14 in 5e, Pathfinder, PF2E, Call of Cthulhu, 13th Age, Vampire the Masquerade, Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk Red, and others. I love tabletop gaming as it takes up a good chunk of my free time. I'm always concocting new things for players to do in game be it strange combat encounters, puzzles, or social encounters. The way I run games is a little different than most I forgo most prep work in exchange for improv "Yes, and.."ing my players. This means that each session I come with a loose idea of what could happen but ultimately where the session goes is 100% up to the players and how they want to interact with the world. I try not to limit player agency at all but sometimes as the DM I do have to put my foot down and kind of push you back on track though... but as I noted before I don't do this often. Tabletop games are a group effort and while I may create or present the world/setting to you, this is the baseline. This is why I use settings with a lot of wiggle room or create my own. Currently as of May 2023 I've made the shift of running all of my 5E games in the Grim Hollow setting which is fantastic in the sense they give general ideas for what exists but it's not set in stone rules like official settings can be... not that we have to follow those rules even if I ran in this setting. I do play fast and loose with the rules, I don't flat out break them, like I'm not letting every character fly or giving you all unlimited spell slots, but say you wanted to try something a little unorthodox that MIGHT not be completely inline with the rules... we can try it... it's a game about chance... ANYTHING is possible if you're lucky enough. Though consequences for action can be as devastating as the outcome of the action would have been beneficial.

GM Style

I like a mix of social and combat, I do tend to lean towards whatever the group wants.
