Howdy! I've got 17 years of D&D experience. and 8 years of improv/theater experience which is the foundation of my GM style. That doesn't mean I don't plan, but that I take the fundamentals of good improve into the game. The yes and philosophy and rule of cool is what I try to strive for. I've played with all kinds of people all over the world. It's made me learn a lot about what makes a good game, and what players find interesting and memorable. I think that's what we're really looking for when playing these games. Good memories with good people! I hope to provide both :)

How Brandon R runs games

I'm a rule of cool DM. I enjoy high power and big set peaces. In almost all my combats I try to incorporate, an objective, some verticality, and a fight encounter. I think that's the receipt for a memorable fight. I like to stick to the rule of cool and a "yes and" or a "no but" philosophy, to keep players as active agents in the mechanics and the world.
