About me
Hello my future players and friends! I grew up watching my dad play 2nd edition D&D with his friends from college, and I started playing as soon as my dad let me (about age 13). I continued playing with them every other Saturday for several years and eagerly wanted to have my own group to play with. Life got busy (work, college, video games, girls) and D&D fell to the side. I’m an avid reader, love anime, and most things fantasy (which you know I incorporate into D&D 😬). When I was 22, I started craving D&D again, but knew I wanted a committed group of players. If I was going to learn how to DM, how to play 5th edition, and teach others how to play D&D I wanted to make it a regular thing like what my dad and his friends had. It happened! I’ve had an incredible group of 13-14 players who rotate in and out as life happens, with a limit of 6 players at the table, for the last 8 years. We’ve switched between playing every Thursday and every other Thursday since then and are still at it! We play homebrew and premade campaigns, but you know I love homebrew! My campaigns tend to be longer term, as I love to see players get into 14th and 15th level power, and they are very much player and story focused, with about 60% combat and 40% role playing. I love magic items and being as creative and imaginative as possible in our sessions! You bring a well thought out character to the table and you know I’m going to riff off it! I love using the player characters to elevate the substance of and add meaning to our sessions! I tend to play the more serious style of D&D, but it’s always about having fun!
GM Style
I love player and story driven dungeons and dragons. Homebrew and custom campaigns are my favorite. It’s like we’re reading and writing a book together! My sessions are about 60% combat and 40% role playing. I love magic items and detailed characters. I tend to be on the more serious side of D&D, but I’m all about having fun!

I have been playing D&D for over 40 years and I can honestly say, Austin is an amazing DM! He uses a theatre-of-the-mind and at first I was a little reluctant, but it has turned out to be so much better than a VTT. He never delays the game struggling with the tech. He describes the scenes from player perspectives. I have no concerns about playing classes with abilities that are highly dependent on positioning. His descriptions and voices are awesome. He has earned our trust and he trusts his players. We get to roll actual dice! He runs a custom campaign and provides the players a level of agency that I have never experienced online. I look forward to our sessions all week - I can't wait for Friday nights. This is my favorite campaign, and I would highly recommend Austin. I hope to keep playing in his campaigns for years to come.
