About me
Gamemaster and player for 22+ years and freelance game designer for 2 years. I got my start playing AD&D, and since then I've played and run D&D 3.0, 3.5, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade, Vampire the Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition, Vampire the Masquerade 5th edition and all of NerdBurger Games RPGs including Capers, Die Laughing, Good Strong Hands and Code Warriors. As a designer, I've designed the adventure for Capers Pirates, monsters for Capers Offworld and designed locations for Code Warriors. I have run games at anime conventions and gaming conventions across the Midwest and Canada, including Gen Con. I've run games for NerdBurger Games at Gen Con for 3 years.
GM Style
As a Game Master, I enjoy having players from diverse backgrounds at the table and also enjoy running for first time players as well as experienced players. I believe that the goal of any game is to have fun, and actively weave elements of my players' backstories into the main plot of the story. In terms of GM style, my sessions tend to run more role-play focused than combat focused, but I try to adapt my style to the players at the table. Every group is different, so as a GM I think it's important to understand what your players want and expect out of the game, and try to give them the best experience possible. I enjoy using different accents and voices while portraying NPCs. I try to have NPCs stand out and be unique, well rounded and believable. I utilize safety tools in my games such as lines and veils to ensure that everyone is able to have a good time and feel safe. I enjoy receiving constructive feedback from my players so I can continue to grow and learn as a Game Master.

This GM was so fun! He ran a one shot campaign with zero setup time for him. He was able to pull a cohesive story together while making all the NPCs unique and fun and not cookie-cutter. It was the best RPG experience I've ever had. I will absolutely be joining more of his sessions.
