About Kylar Toreador
Good evening. My name is Kylar. I have been playing ttrpgs for around 5 years now, and filling the role of Storyteller for about 1. I have the most experience as a player in Dungeon's And Dragons, and almost exclusively my Storyteller experience has been with Vampire: The Masquerade 5e. I have a few other books I have looked into and want to start running, such as Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Dragon Age, and possibly even try to tell a story for Star Wars 5E.

I got started GMing...
because I wanted to expose my friends to the story atmosphere of Vampire: The Masquerade. Turned out that I really enjoy telling a good story that can pull people in.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Vampire: The Masquerade, Bunkers And Badasses, and probably Dragon Age
When I'm not running games I'm...
either playing video games, reading a book, or sleeping. All in the name of new material for more stories!
How Kylar Toreador runs games
I pride myself on making a story that can cater to my players and their personal stories. I play the first while of my world Introduction Sessions in "chapters" with one player being more of the "face" for that chapter until the party seems to have the best cohesion. I love to tell a good story, especially since I prefer Vampire: The Masquerade which has minimal combat. I do also enjoy giving my players a good puzzle to solve.

I once ran a session...
that was an amalgamation of worlds with all sorts of fun homebrew. Including a NecroHamster (a necromancer classed Hamster PC).
Rules are...
A great guideline. I can run a full homebrew game, or we can go by the books. Its all up to the table how we roll.
When it comes to voices
I love to do them, love to hear them. Just make sure that you can tell what is you and what is your character.
Kylar Toreador's ideal table
My table can be adaptable, but is not a place for hate (unless its for a truly vile bbeg) and will not exclude anyone. Weather its a combat heavy group of chaos gremlins looting anything not nailed down, or a lovely role playing group that loves to tell a heartwrenching backstory.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
falls in love with their character, and loves the story we tell. My aim is to get everyone to love their story so much they want to keep telling more.
I think metagaming...
can lead to some interesting homebrew opportunities. Such as in a game using Monster Hunter homebrews, metagaming doesn't mean you know if they are tempered or not only that you know what monster it is.
My table is not the place for...
hatred, ableism, sexism, or discrimination of any kind. I want all players to feel welcome at my tables, and want to help keep them friendly.
