About Tyler
Welcome, travelers! I’ve been running games for about two years now, usually for big, lively groups of up to eight players. I’m a storyteller at heart and love building worlds that pull you in, and moments that hit you in the feels, make you laugh, and immerse players in the story. My tables mix roleplay, cinematic combat, and the occasional puzzle to keep everyone on their toes. If you’re into immersive stories, pull up a chair, grab a drink, and let’s tell one together!

I became a GM because
I’m a writer and an artist, and DMing blends all of my favorite things into the perfect game I get to share with my friends. I have never seen a better creative outlet that is as fun and rewarding as DMing.
I got started GMing...
My girlfriend, knowing im a huge animation nerd, first showed me The Legend of Vox Machina, and I really enjoyed the show. However, once I learned that it was adapted from a D&D campaign, I was hooked and had to try it. I called up all of my friends and a forever DM I became.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Almost always creating something. I’m either tinkering with new tabletop systems, creating terrain and miniatures for my games, or engaging in other forms of art to satisfy the creative in me. I’m also currently enrolled in art school to become an animator or a game designer!
How Tyler runs games
At my table, I prioritize player experience and pacing over all else. As someone who is used to running for large party's, I understand well how to give each player the attention they deserve, and the room they need to grow. I am a theatrical DM, I'm not afraid to put on voices and breathe life into NPCs and villains. I am a writer and artist with many years of experience under my belt, and that is clear in my style, but I do not railroad as I believe player agency is one of the top priorities in TTRPGs. I don't expect everyone to play with the exact same style as I DM, I adapt to the players and try to find the general style the party is looking for so everyone can have a comfortable, fun, and memorable experience. At the table, I love to use props and terrain, and online will be no different, utilizing sources such as Roll20, Talespire, D&D Beyond, and even camera setups pointed at real terrain for the highest level of immersion possible.
