About Alexander

My tabletop roleplaying passion was stoked by actual play podcasts such as Acquisitions Inc., Godsfall, and Turncloaks. I was enamored by the music, voice acting, and story set-pieces that enhanced the dice-driven improv you can only get from TTRPGs into scenes as tense and thrilling as any pulp serial audio drama. I want to offer you something similarly cinematic, but personalized. Each session we'll tune in—not the Shadow or Dimension X—but to your own trials and terrors at the dice' whims. Don't hesitate to message with any questions, comments, concerns, or points of inquiry. My door is always open. P.S. My profile picture comes courtesy of the fantastic Kiyoshuki. My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be

...Pathfinder 2nd Edition. At least I could supplement my firewood supply with the mountain of books I own. ...CAIN. Dark punk horror manga. A game after my own heart. ...and one game I haven't read yet, because I'll never stop looking for fresh RPGs to play.

How Alexander runs games

🎙️ My style is inspired by audio drama. I set the mood with curated ambience and music. I embody my NPCs as an actor, with voices, quirks, and motivations. The world will force hard choices onto your characters, and we'll see what kind of people they choose to be. 🎲 Custom moves make the game! Expect custom rules, items, or character options to be unlocked throughout a campaign, each one intended to evoke the themes or flavor of the narrative. 🤎🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈♾️ Exclusion and derision of people based on their race, gender, or disability is not acceptable in any conversation, including the conversation at my table.

My games focus on...

...the character arcs I collaborate on with my players. I want to dig into the psychology of characters by stabbing them through the heart with moral choices that will define who their players want them to become.

I may not be a theatre kid, but theatre kids love my games!
