About me

Hi! I’m Aster, a 31 year old queer, trans, disabled and neurodivergent Dungeon Master from the UK. I love tabletop roleplaying games - especially D&D - and have found them to be instrumental in my social life during the past few years. I do not consider myself a rules or roleplaying expert by any means, but I am fun-loving, friendly, and love a good roleplaying based campaign! My campaigns tend to be heavy on the roleplay, but I believe everything has its place in D&D games. I like running both real time VTT campaigns and PbP games, and I have over five years experience running both kinds! All in all, I just want to guide people on fun adventures and provide a safe space for people to explore their characters however they see fit to. I hope you’ll consider me as not only a DM, but your friend also.

GM Style

I adore roleplay. It’s where I cut my chops before I even knew what tabletop roleplaying was - doing Forum and MMO based roleplay! I believe that I shine during heavy roleplay moments and, while I can’t do an accent to save my life, I’m descriptive and try my best to immerse my players despite this. I’d say that my style of DMing is very much focused on narrative and the Rule of Cool. If you enjoy crunchy rule fuelled combat and min/max tactics, I probably am not the best DM for you honestly.
