How Alexander runs games

When it comes to campaigns I promise three things. At some point your character will think they are going to die, you will cry, and you will feel like a hero. As much as I love role-playing(and oh boy do I!) you're called characters & heroes for a reason. Where's the fun without momentous combat & a villain you love to hate, and maybe, just maybe hate to love! Now, I do ask you do a character voice while in character, because you know Im gonna be shelling out voices from Garblgug The Goblin to The Grand Archduke of the Sapphire Sea! Whether it's voice actor quality doesn't matter, let's just have fun & enjoy ourselves! You get out, what you put in so I love giving time and emphasis to roleplay, because that's what we are here for after all. I give you a lush, fleshed-out world, that you can run around and do whatever you want. Oh, and I do mean whatever you want, never limit yourself because you're worried you'll "break the story." The story comes from what the players do in my world, can't have one without the other. So just enjoy yourselves! I work hard to make a setting and makings of a story most can enjoy, but equally important is making an environment you want to play in. If youre a beginner have no fear, Ive DMed for tons of first timers. Its not that scary, unless you want it to be! For experienced players, I've been playing since 3rd edition, so we can talk about how these young kids don't know how easy they got it! Most importantly though, when you play at my table, virtual or real, we are all equals. If you have issues or special needs you can address them with me before or after the session. I dont want anyone feeling left out, were here to build a welcoming environment. Without losing sight of what we are all here for, to have fun!
