I became a GM because

I love helping players become immersed into the world of TTRPGs and I love the exploration of so many different things. TTRPGs provide a huge platform for imagination. Whether it's a kingdom's political system or a character's backstory, there's always something to explore together.

Do TTRPG source books count? Haha…but seriously? As my wife will attest, I have definitely been known to (often) read RPG books for fun ;) But I also enjoy stories with well built worlds and deep lore. I particularly enjoy the world/lore of A Song of Ice and Fire.

If a TPK occurs outside a boss fight, the story continues from there as if all were knocked out (ex. waking as prisoners in the goblin camp).

“The code is more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules.” Rules are recommended guidelines in TTRPG's. A great base but might need to be adjusted to meet the needs of the group and make a fun experience for everyone.
