Hey there! I'm Jim (Enz in some gaming circles, or Alucair for TTRPGs) I’ve been GMing for a bit now—newer to it than some, but passionate about it all the same. I run two games a week (5e and Pathfinder 2e), and I’ve completed a couple of modules (mods) while also working on more for Foundry VTT, which is definitely my preferred platform. I’m all about making your vision for your character come to life, while still keeping things grounded in the world we’re building together. Life Happens—No Stress! GM Style

When I run a game, I make it a point to ensure everyone gets their moment in the spotlight. I try to go around the table and check in with each player, especially those who haven’t interacted in a while. I want everyone to feel like they’re part of the story and contributing to the experience. Whether you’re an extrovert eager to jump in, or someone who needs a little nudge, I’m there to help you get involved in a way that feels comfortable. It’s all about making sure everyone is having a good time and staying engaged. I love diving into the mechanics of the game. Crit cards, fumble cards, letting people really play out those big rolls—I’m all for it. I won’t pull punches when it comes to the enemies, either. I play them as they would be in the moment, whether that’s a calculated strike or a reckless charge. I like to keep the action immersive, with consequences that make sense for the story. Every NPC gets a voice, which helps me bring the world to life. Don’t worry, though—it’s totally optional for you to give your character a voice if that’s not your style. The important thing is that we’re all having fun in a way that suits each player. I’m pretty big on following the rules, but I’m also not the type to get bogged down if something needs an on-the-spot ruling. The rules are there to guide us, but if a quick homebrew decision is what’s needed to keep things flowing, I’m happy to make that call. What matters most to me is that the game stays fun and fair. At the end of the day, I’m all about making sure we all have a great time. It’s not about completing the campaign or beating the game. For me, the goal is for us to walk away from each session feeling like we had an epic time—whether it was because of a big, dramatic moment or a hilarious one. We leave the egos at the door, and focus on having fun together, because that’s what makes the game truly great.
