About me

Welcome, potential player! My name is Alex, and here's a quick rundown on who I am and what you can expect from me as your GM. Thanks for visiting! I've been running TTRPGs and other story-telling games for over 15 years, so I know what it takes to put together a memorable, immersive session. Much of my experience comes from running long-form D&D campaigns, including both pre-built modules and "homebrew" games of my own creation, but I'm also familiar with a variety of other systems and I love playing games from independent publishers--games like "Dread," "For the Queen," "Quest," and more. In addition to my years of TTRPG experience, I also have a degree in theater production and I've written and produced award-winning theater and podcasts for more than a decade now. This helps me bring a certain theatrical flair to every game I run and I take pride in building solid stories and characters, even on the fly. GM style

I'm a veteran GM who loves to improvise and "do the voices," but I also pride myself on my preparation and world-building. I like to cultivate a chill, friendly atmosphere and I run immersive games with an emphasis on collaborative storytelling. It's not "my" world or "my" story--it's OURS! I can accommodate just about any style, but I work best with players who love to roleplay and who care about making sure each person at the "table" is having a great time. All are welcome, no exceptions! Player safety and comfort are my highest priorities, so I have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discriminatory or bullying behavior.
