About me

I’m a writer and I’ve been DMing for almost 15 years. I'm newer to DMing online, but I often use Owlbear Rodeo for maps and such. I'm currently learning Tabletop Simulator as well. I mostly run D&D 5E. What kind of DM am I? I’d like to think I’m a fun reasonable DM that likes to see his players succeed while also giving them a good challenge. I thrive for RP, but I also love combat. I tend to follow RAW rules for a system, but I’m fine with bending the rules or making new ones as needed. I try to do voices, I like it when players try cool things and are creative/inventive and reward players for staying in character, even if it’s to the detriment of their character. If you have any questions for me I’m happy to answer them.

GM Style

Please Read My About Section. I love roleplay, I also love combat, and I love intrigue. I tend to follow RAW but I'm not afraid to bend/change the rules if I feel like I need to. I DM in my own homebrew world that I’ve been building for years. I like to reward players for exploring, being creative, and staying in character, even if it's to their own detriment. I make homebrew content to reward players with. I’m the kind of DM who wants to see the party win, cooperate, and share the spotlight while still providing a challenge for you. My Flaws: I am bad at puzzles, it’s something I’m working on. I’m also not tech Savvy and I'm used to in-person D&D, so I’m not used to the platforms DMs use beyond Discord to play. I know theater of the mind does not work for everyone so I've learned how to use Owlbear Rodeo and I'm getting more familiar with Tabletop simulator.
