Professional Game MasterPagehe/him
I'm both a teacher and a writer. I enjoy helping to create memorable experiences for people. For most of the games I host, I've written the campaign myself, which gives players a whole new world to explore. As a DM, I'm a story teller and love watching new people enter my worlds and add their stories to the lore. I run both homebrew campaigns as well as mainstream, but I prefer the deep story lines of homebrew. I also use Foundry VTT and Dungeondrafts to create and use my content. Typically, I prefer to play in person, and I use Foundry anyway so we can have colorful maps. However, I have plenty of experience with virtual gaming and that is not an issue. I also take requests for campaigns or one-shots, but will require time to prepare and adapt said games. Music and Map preparation are important to me as a GM. DM me for requests etc.
Storyteller first and foremost. I prefer good experiences and fun to number crunching and grinding. I prefer a good mix of difficult encounters, NPC interaction, and puzzle solving. I feel a balance not only keeps everyone on their toes, but keeps it interesting. I love roleplay at the table, and love more when players bring unique voices and perspectives, although I am not myself great at voices. I prefer my players to have fun in both intrigue and roleplay, so one of my hallmarks is to ensure the games are personal to them. This means I'm willing to adapt either my own stories, or confront toxic players when it comes to ensuring that my players are enjoying the game. Although I follow most "rules as written," I believe that good roleplaying trumps some of these situations and therefore creativity is the ultimate goal here. Depending on the campaign, my style goes from serious and may have restrictions on class/race to anything goes and lets see how crazy this can get.
