How Sean runs games
My default is to try to have a good mix of game (combat, skill checks, etc) and RP (narration, character interactions, management aspects). In general, I err towards including more of the latter over the former (some sessions may not break out the dice at all, but rarely will a session be all-combats). I tend to encourage players to incorporate management aspects into the game such as base-building, alliance forging, town-planning, and so on, but can downplay such things on request By default I tend to go pretty dark in plot and theme but can lighten those up as requested, and always try to inject a lot of levity into games in their less tense moments.
