GM style

I enjoy running games with a strong central theme, whether that's gothic horror, faerie romance, or steampunk adventure. In my experience, the best games are ones where the players and GM work together to create a particular experience, with characters fully immersed in the world. At heart, my games are about the story. My background is in theatre, and I lean heavily into "in-character" voices. I love creating unique NPCs for players to interact with. I'm also a huge fan of strategy board games and enjoy making tactical combat encounters. Combat for me is a part of the story, and I strive to make it equally exciting. I tend to run games that are balanced between being combat and role-play heavy. That being said, I do my best to tailor games to player preference and will comfortably lean in either direction. I've run games without a whiff of combat or tactics, and those can be fun too!
