How D4ark DM runs games
Focused heavily on party driven storytelling and roleplaying the rules to me are secondary to providing a fun enviroment where players are allowed to be creative. Combat is meant to challenge players but never designed to defeat the party it will happen frequently and I do not pull any punches but because of this I am always transparent with my rolls and willing to go over enemy stablocks and tactics after combat and give suggestions and reminders during combat to help the party. I am terrible at puzzles and riddles and make very few usage of them within my campaigns.
