About me

Hello All! I am SirJohn, I am a rule of cool DM with way too much free time on my hands so I wanted to start playing a bit more Dungeons and Dragons and other systems to fill some of that free time up! I have been a Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons for a little over seven years and a variety game master for around two years. I have played Masks: A New Generation, Urban Shadows, Pathfinder, and even a little Pokemon 5e. This is starting to feel like a dating profile, but with ttrpgs. Oh well. Out of games I love my dog, reading books, and long walks on the beach. Actually, hate beaches. Mostly because of the sand. I hate sand. Its course, and ruff, and irritating. And it gets everywhere. I just want to have a fun time with you all and incorporate some great stories and great characters into our shared world! So, if you want to take an adventure with me, I'll see you at the table!

GM style

As a GM, I find my strengths to be making a story to fit player characters and in putting the players into sticky situations that you have to think to get out of. My main weakness is the fact that I can't really do voices, but I make varied characters from all walks of life so hopefully that makes up for it. I am looking for players who want to play out the story events and mostly skip the boring stuff like how much bags weigh and how long the ten mile walk from Drakenstone to Wellingood takes. I love interparty talks, people who like to roleplay but understand that the game is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, and creative character concepts. I hate bird people of any kind (long story), people who want to break the game with rules as written attitudes, and one dimensional characters who don't play well as a team.
