About me
Hail, adventurers! I'm a professional actor that believes Dungeons & Dragons, at its heart, is about telling a great story. Few games like D&D have the power to inspire the imagination and bring people together. Perhaps that's why the d20 continues to be rolled on tables all over the world for as long as it has. Whether you're looking to get the last laugh on the Goblin King, plunder the dragon's hoard, or seek revenge on that Mind Flayer, I look forward to seeing you at the table. We'll have a lot of laughs, and by the end of the adventure you'll hopefully get the satisfaction of reading a great book...one that is a little hard to close.
GM Style
I favor a playstyle that first and foremost serves the characters and their creative arcs. You can expect adventures to be chock-full of roleplay and dynamic theatre-of-the-mind combat.

Sets the Mood
Morgan is one of the best DMs I've had the privilege of playing with. He is a master at immersion and describing the scene, a must have for Theater of the Mind games. Add a safe and inclusive atmosphere to round out nothing short of a GREAT experience. D&D hasn't felt this good in years. I think I may have found my new Forever DM.
Morgan is an exceptional DM! Welcoming, original, engaging and knowledgeable, with a truck load of creativity. He brings a lot to the table but also brings the best out of players. Great balance of exploration, combat and thought provoking challenges. His use of music, sense of timing, and humour add really nice personal touches. Looking forward to more adventures with Morgan for sure!
I love everything about Morgan and his style of GMing. He has a great way of engaging with each player, making moments feel meaningful (or just downright silly), moving the story along, and appropriately challenging/punishing/rewarding PC actions/inactions. Morgan is ENGAGING with each of the players at his table. I joined Rime’s about 1 third of the way through the adventure and he helped me understand where the group was at and really encouraged me during the character building session we did. I am very flexible in what type of character I play and after learning what the current party composition was at that time, we crafted a solid supplemental character for the group with a unique backstory and connection to the larger picture. He even made it so my character had a direct link to an NPC in the game so that I could ground the identity of my PC. Morgan is FUN/FUNNY! We have one person at our table who is the hijinx queen and loves to do random, off-the-wall stuff and Morgan finds ways to incorporate her actions into the story (and the appropriate follow-up consequences!) in a way that does not overshadow the other players. I know I appreciate the more comedy aspects of D&D, so I personally love the hijnx, but we as a party tend to lean into it as a cohort and Morgan does a great job of keeping us on task, but allowing us to be silly. Morgan is great at PACING. Every single session we have is incredibly well-balanced in terms story progression and character backstory development. He makes it a point to really get each of us involved and develop a piece of our PC. Morgan is CREATIVE and adds so much personality into the NPCs. He picks a bit for the NPC and really drives it home, committing to the voice and the personality. The majority of his NPCs have a goofy demeanor, but I think that is because we are not a very serious table. The few times when Rime’s got a little dark/scary, he did a great job at setting the tone and really leaned into those NPC personalities. I bet if we were a very serious table that wanted a darker version of Rime’s, he would be able to channel that more broadly into the environment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting in on one of Morgan’s games. You will not regret the time you spend at his table.
