About me

Hi, my name is Skyler. I am a husband, student, storyteller, actor, and nerd. I started playing D&D in high school and loved it but life quickly got in the way and it was a few years before I was able to play it again. When I did pick it back up I gathered a couple of close friends from home and my family and started DMing – poorly. It’s been over 4 years since that first session and I have fallen in love with DMing. So much so I’m here – on the internet – offering my services. I have grown exponentially in the last few years as a DM. It’s been an incredible journey and I’ve DM’d up to three games at one time. I can’t seem to get enough. As a DM I love to run custom stories and adventures based around the characters and players. What do you like to do? Who do you want to be? What tone do you want the campaign to be? These are just some of the questions I ask to customize the experience for my group. I love RP, Combat, and just having a great time. I’m not a “rules lawyer.” While most of the game is pretty by the book I prefer to have a good time rather than playing “right.” That’s a good overview of me and I hope it gives you a good sense of who you will be playing with!
