About Ethan

Hello! My name is Ethan and I've been a professional GM since 2020. I started playing tabletop RPG's in the late 90's and early 2000's with my dads Heroquest box, and moved on to play D&D 3.5 and 4th. (Which I actually enjoyed quite a bit.) I started GMing professionally with 5th edition, and have completed nearly every module up to Witchlight with my friends and patrons. I'm new to Startplaying, but I'm excited to start new adventures here!

How Ethan runs games

I am a firm believer that tabletop games are a social game by design. So I come to my tables with the express purpose to have a good time with my players. I also like to play games RAW/RAI, both to preserve designer intent, and also to ensure that players choices in the design space feel fair and balanced across the table.
