Hi, I’m Alan, a longtime GM and narrative designer with over two decades of storytelling experience. My tables are built around rich character arcs, world-shaping decisions, and the kind of cinematic tension you’d expect from your favorite fantasy series. If you’re looking for a game where your choices matter and your backstory can change the world, you’re in the right place. I run games like a storyteller-director: weaving big emotional moments, letting characters shine, and then throwing them into battles that feel like boss fights in a myth. My players have called my style “Nick Fury DMing” I build epic heroes, then challenge them with world-ending threats. I love high magic, brutal combat, moral complexity, and giving each player their moment in the spotlight. Rules are respected (I use 2014 core books), but I’m always happy to find a way to make your character’s cool idea work within the system. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned adventurer, I’ll meet you at your level and help you become someone unforgettable.

I became a GM because
I love watching players build something meaningful from nothing. seeing quiet characters rise to greatness, seeing flawed heroes make impossible choices. Running games lets me create those spaces where people can surprise themselves and each other.
How DM Monet runs games
A balance of RP and Gameplay. You won't need to learn 1000 NPCs, but the games are not all combat. Combat can be challenging, I plan to let you test your builds to your comfort level, but I do not find joy in TPKs.
