About me

I started playing AD&D in 1994 and haven't stopped since. I have always enjoyed creating vast worlds for my players to explore with colorful characters, mysterious dungeons, homebrew monster and unique treasure. My philosophy in gaming is to never "railroad" a story-let the players choose their destiny. In my opinion, some of the best games are the ones that go completely off the rails. My style of DMing is traditional. The rules of the DM's Guide and Players' Handbook will dictate my decisions but I will always consider something outside of those guidelines if an argument can be made. I like to have a good mix of combat, role playing and strategy/puzzle to appeal to all types of gamer. I am also very fond of players that flush out back stories of their characters. My experience with players who dedicate time and effort in creating a personality, makes for a better game (especially flawed characters i.e. A paladin with Kleptomania, a wizard with bibliophobia, a thief with uncontrollable flatulence). In closing, I have spent the last 10 years creating a homebrew campaign that I feel players enjoy. I have play tested this campaign both personally and professionally (DragonCon 2017). I look forward to DMing for you and your fellow adventurers.

GM Style

I love a mix of play-tactical combat, role playing and puzzle/mystery solving. I enjoy flushing out backstories to even mundane characters to give more color to my homebrew world.
