About ForeverDM Eric
For over a decade, I have shouldered the burden of the Forever DM, as D&D that you gotta build is better than no D&D at all. I have run games for 3e, 3.5, 4e and 5e for Dungeons & Dragons over this time period, as well as others such as Call of Cthulu and Cyberpunk 2020. I have a varied interest in table top formats, and have found interesting perks to each. I run games that adhere to standard rules, with potential for homebrew as long as we have a conversation beforehand and it makes sense/doesn't absolutely break the game. I love being able to collectively tell a story and value fun over nuts and bolts at the end of the day. I do use some AI generated artwork at times to enhance hand-made digital scenes or for token representations. I don't mind a rules lawyer as long as we maintain cohesion and don't start with needless needling. If you are looking for a edgelord/murderhobo spree, this isn't the DM you're looking for. If you're looking for a game that adapts to your playstyle while you build cool stories with friends, come on down.

How ForeverDM Eric runs games
I love the roleplaying and exploration aspects of D&D the most, and will employ character voices when appropriate. I prefer combat to facilitate story and challenge as well. I employ skill checks when appropriate and will frequently employ skill challenges to help ease larger or more widespread actions that combat or simple puzzles might not cover aptly. I love collective worldbuilding, and prefer that my characters use choices made to fuel investment in the world we create together to help progress the storylines, as opposed to forcing the group along a rail.
