About Deathmetal Bard
Greetings! My name is Deathmetal Bard and I'm an avid fan of heavy metal music, anime, and tabletop roleplaying games. I've been hooked on TRPGs since 2012, and I've been GMing since 2014. As a game master, I strive to create immersive and engaging adventures that challenge my players and leave them wanting more. Whether we're exploring dungeons, battling dragons, or delving into dark conspiracies, I always aim to provide a thrilling and memorable experience. I'm excited to share my passion for TRPGs with you and help you explore new worlds and stories. Let's roll some dice and see where the journey takes us! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsKmUNEcILUzIQO7b7EZNdQ

I became a GM because
I love telling stories and seeing players interacting with it all. I tend to improv as well so I enjoy being able to move things about from what players do as well.
My favorite shows/movies are
Shows: South park Smiling friends Sentai Kamen rider Mst3k Movies Sleep away camp 2 Skinnamarink Kung fu hustle Ichi the killer Black cauldron
My favorite system of all Time is
For fantasy it has to be 13th age! I love how players are proactive in narrative collab and how their stories actively impact the world.
How Deathmetal Bard runs games
I tend to love roleplaying with that good hint of combat as well. I always strive to really dig into the character concepts my players give me to try and keep them invested in the world that we build together.

I deal with rules issues by...
Siding with what sounds more fun to do. I do caution that if the players want it, then enemies get a chance to use it too to make sure it's fair.
My games focus on...
The players and their impact on the story. I know that's a cliche but I want the characters to do cool things and see how they interact to the adventure as well.
Deathmetal Bard's ideal table
My table style is cool characters and having fun at the table. I don't mind if players don't do voices or have a hard time roleplaying or need a little help with the game, I love seeing the characters on the table come to life however the players do it.

I love it when a player
Leans into complications if they make the session for more. That's not to say they should actively impede the game, but flaws and tension can be important tools to the game.
