About Mathew France
Hello! I'm an experienced DM having run campaigns for all manner of types of groups, friends and strangers alike. A majority of my experience has been with DnD 5e in more traditional fantasy settings, however I hold no specific ties to any one setting or style of play. The players I like to accommodate the most are brand new or still learning so that we can discover the intricacies of our game systems together. I spend most of my free time consuming informational RPG content and would hope to convince you that the games you play with me are inspired by hours of thoughtful work toward cultivating a welcoming and fun experience for all.

How Mathew France runs games
I really enjoy improvisational creative efforts with my party. Many sessions intentionally involve heavy improv of story content and encounter design to match the decisions of the party. Many of my campaigns are written to develop an ecology that the players can bump into and have it feel "alive". No weird monsters for no reason; no random NPCs with bad reasons to be where they are. If the party has a reason to believe something should exist somewhere, I work to put that thing there.
