How to prepare

Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). Set up free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser for Roll20. Install Discord app on computer. Join Ajax D&D server. Send token image to Ajax DM (or select one from Ajax DM collection!). At any time in leveling up or character creation, you require a familiar, or Wild Shape forms, or Summon creatures, please alert Ajax DM well before the game so these can be set up for you.

What I provide

Ajax DM uses official D&D 5e campaign materials supplemented with additional maps, licensed music and sound effects, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), scripts to automate manual tasks, purchased tokens, sourcebook/compendium sharing in Roll20. We use Discord for audio and each group gets its own channels to talk between games.

Safety: Rape, Sexual Assault - will not be part of this game Negotiating with an NPC will award the same XP as defeating them in combat. Trading gifts or doing favors can lead to positive relationships in the Feywild. There are some puzzles in this game.

How will character creation work

Characters will enter at the same level as the rest of the party. Launch Roll20 game, and if you're creating a character, roll for stats in chat. You may opt for Standard Array if you dislike your rolls. Pre-made characters are available. Or build character in Roll20 using the Charactermancer (+ D&D Beyond if desired), before the game. Include at least 2 paragraphs of background story with at least one named person in their story. Fill in physical description and personality traits, ideals, bonds and flaws. If using D&D Beyond character sheet, use ability score rolls from Roll20 chat.
