About the adventure

Soon class will be in session at the prestigious Strixhaven: School of Mages, and we're so glad you've chosen to begin your mystical studies with us! You represent the best and the brightest the Multiverse has to offer, and we represent all the knowledge one could possibly hope to learn as a blossoming student practicing a mage craft. Heavily inspired by Hogwarts, Strixhaven is the perfect scenario for you that have always wanted to be part of a magic school: take strange and challenging classes, make friends and enemies with other students and professors, study and prepare for exams, be involved in extracurricular activities, sports and jobs, explore and play around the school during your free time, behave or misbehave as your character learns and evolves in all sorts of ways. I've taken my time to improve and develop the setting beyond the basic book and adventure, so get ready to be part of a world filled with unprecedent possibilities and adventures! I have to say: if you are a Harry Potter fan, or a fan of the "magic school fantasy trope", this is a must! If you are not, you are still about to have tons of fun!

How to prepare

Things you will need to play this campaign: ☑️ A working mic. ☑️ An account on Discord. ☑️ An account on Roll20. ☑️ A stable internet. That's it. Of course, understanding of rules helps, but it is perfectly fine if you know very little about it all: I will help you along the way!

What I provide

All sorts of VTT materials, such as battlemaps, handouts and sometimes ambient music. A fun and engaging experience of cooperative storytelling, filled with interesting situations and challenges, fantastical NPCs and locations and things to be discovered.

Gameplay details

We will have a free session 0, where we will discuss character creation, the experience that you want to have, the overall idea of the scenario, homebrew rules, and of course, if there are sensitive issues, triggers or things in general that you would not want the game to have. Also, at the end of each session I like to ask for feedback, that can also be given in private if you prefer, regarding the session we have played or even the whole campaign in general.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 1 and they can be created during our session 0. I can also help you with the character creation throughout the week between our sessions 0 and 1 if needed, including backstory. If you join after the first session, I can still help you in a Discord call to set up your character in a time we are both available!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
