How to prepare

Platform: We will be using Discord and Roll20 for this game. No webcam is required. Experience: There is no previous experience required. While familiarity with the D&D5e rules can be helpful to start with, I will be able to share and support with any rules or mechanics as we go. If you are new to the game and want to review the rules in advance, please let me know and I can direct you to some quick guides to get you started. Hardware: A working microphone Bring your creativity and be ready to have fun!

What I provide

I will be sharing the core sourcebooks as well as many other supplemental D&D5e books with you through Roll20 for creating your character and throughout our game. On Roll20 you will see my custom battle maps for our combats and encounters. Additionally, I provide art that I create to enhance in-game descriptions of locations, monsters, and NPCs.

Gameplay details

Please note that this game contains mature themes and there will be depictions of violence, blood, and other possibly distressing content. It is important to know that there will not be any explicit sexual content at our table. If there are any topics you are concerned about, please let me know in advance of the first session. If issues or topics come up during the games that you are not comfortable with, please message me privately so we can resolve the situation as quickly and discreetly as possible. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all players, I use the following safety tools: - Session zero to discuss concerns and boundaries before the game begins - Lines and veils to identify sensitive topics and content to avoid - Open door policy regarding any concerns you have We will go over some rules in the session 0 document that stipulate what is and is not acceptable behaviour at the table as well as any homebrew rules being used. My tables run with a lean towards "the rule of cool"- if you can make a good argument for something, I'm likely to go along with it (given it is not disruptive to others in the group). My goal is a fun, safe, and cooperative environment at the table, where every player gets time in the spotlight.
