About the adventure

You and your group have been selected by the Institute of Magical Arts and Astronomical Examinations in the elven capital of Iadara, to travel into the nation of Galt and investigate the landing site of some sort of meteorite—securing the area and returning with any relevant information. ☄️ Race to plunder a meteorite 💬 Investigate rumors of its origin among the locals ☢️ Brave the mutated terrain left from it's cataclysmic passage.

How to prepare

You'll need a working microphone, stable internet connection, free Discord account, and a free Forge VTT account (https://forge-vtt.com/). Webcams are optional. Invitation links will be in your player dashboard once you've signed up. I'll briefly touch base with everyone to ask questions about your preferences and get to know you before we start.

Gameplay details

Before Session 0, you'll receive a consent checklist to fill out topics that you need to be handled with caution or outright banned. Once everyone fills theirs out, during the Session 0 I'll post a compiled anonymous list of everyone's preferences. During sessions, you can press a button to pop up an X-card on-screen. When the card comes up, we break and discuss what needs to be changed for you to feel comfortable continuing with the game. Around mid-session there'll be a 10-minute break for grabbing snacks and bio breaks. At the end of each session we'll debrief with any questions, comments, concerns, or points of inquiry. I'll ask everyone to share their favorite moment from the session and/or what they're looking forward to next time. Content Warnings: This adventure will have a tinge of cosmic horror similar to the Color Out of Space. Expect to find parasites implanted into human bodies, ala the film Alien. These won't necessarily be described in graphic detail, but they will at least be mentioned.

How will character creation work

📝 You may either build your character directly in Foundry, or build them in a character app such as Pathbuilder or Wanderer's Guide and then send me a link to rebuild them in Foundry. We will iron out your character, their inter-party relationships, and their motivations during session 0. Session 0 will be free of charge. Characters will begin at 1st level. Uncommon and Rare character options or equipment will require approval. Normal alignment damage (good and evil damage) will be replaced with the "Aligned Damage" variant rule. Any alignment damage you deal will only harm creatures based on whether their moral position is anathema to you. This is determined by any anathema provided by your class, and the anathema of your preferred choice of god.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
