Love roleplaying games but especially the GAME part? Love min-maxing and making the most powerful character you can imagine? Test your skills in the Nightmare (Formerly the Mad King's Nightmare), a DND game mode developed by me! Make the most powerful level 6 character you can using the DND rule books(multiclassing allowed), See how long you can survive, rack up as many points as you can before the mad king claims your soul! Each "dream" you will encounter randomly generated monsters with predetermined attack protocols. Make the most of your abilities and spells to defeat them, roll on random loot tables and prepare for the next fight! As soon as one of you goes down it's game over or a big score penalty, so play smart! With 17 rooms and counting this is a great way to test that character you've always wanted to try! Additional Details

How to prepare

Have a mic for Discord, Be familiar with the DND rules of combat especially how your spells and abilities work. I'll send a foundry link that you can simply click to join. Dice accountability is important so ideally if you can create your character on DND beyond and import them to foundry or send me the details of your character so I can create it on Foundry for you, that makes it really easy to roll from your character sheet. Otherwise you can roll straight from foundry and add your modifiers the old fashioned way :)

How will character creation work

Bring a prepared level 6 character (multiclassing allowed). Use the following array for your ability scores (before adding racial bonuses): 17, 15, 14, 12, 10, 8 Ammunition is unlimited There is no way to achieve surprise in this game mode so keep that in mind. But the following is added to the Assassin Rogue's "Assassinate" ability: If the target has not taken its turn yet this round, in addition to making your attack with advantage, you score a critical hit on a 16-20 on the die. Any reasonable (just ask) mundane item you wish, you may have. For heavy armor wearers go splint mail, for medium armor up to breastplate is allowed.
