🎃 HALLOWEEN IS COMING 🎃 Let's do something scary For new players and veterans. Game description at end of list Genre - supernatural, paranormal, horror. ⚠️ CONTENT WARNING ⚠️ Contains descriptions of disturbing images. Accompanied ambient music and sounds may startle players. Jump scares will be implemented. (Or at least im going to try) Roll 20 WILL be used for this adventure as ambient music/sfx. Maybe even combat if needed. Opening RP- little to moderate Combat- little Midgame RP- little to moderate Combat- moderate End game RP- none to little Combat- moderate to heavy Table rules -Nat20 in Combat = max dmg+dmg rerolled. -Initiative is rolled at game start. This allows players to flow directly into Combat. Initiative is rerolled after Combat. -talking in Combat is a free action. -please allow players to play their own characters and keep metagaming to a minimum. (I know it's hard not to sometimes) Setting A wizard has requested the party to venture fourth and retrieve his apprentice. She has left a note saying that she was going to venture into an old rundown building. No doubt because of the rumors of a massive necromantic emerald that's said to may or may not be there. Unfortunately the wizards apprentice has been missing for two ten-day. His growing concern has him making such a request. He warns that he senses a dark force within the location that he himself cannot fight.

How to prepare

We will play via discord. Character sheets must be ready prior to game start time. A mic is required and a Webcam is not.(although being able to see the players allows me to read their emotions) Rules do not need to be read ahead of time. I will discuss them prior to game start. Dice rolls are via the honor system. Use your own dice. Please do not cheat your rolls. If at all possible I would like to see character sheets prior to game day.

Gameplay details

The Haunt is a dungeon crawl for level 4 characters. There will be a good amount of combat and some lore to explore. ⚠️ because of the nature of how I am running this adventure it is highly advised that you are sure you want to play. Generally before disturbing Content arises, I will say that it is so that uncomfortable players can opt out of the details. This adventure is ment to be scary and give chills. Music and noises accompanied in the adventure are ment to give the players a sense of unease and dread. ⚠️ Refunds are not accepted for cancelation with less than 24 hours of game start.

How will character creation work

A level 4 character will be needed for this game. Characters must be created prior to game start time. Players can use ANY WOTC content for their characters. We will use the standard array or point buy. It is advised to bring a secondary character in the event of character death.....which is likely. Based on actions.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
