About the adventure

Dive headfirst into the zany and spellbinding world of Critical Role's Daggerheart with The Forgotten Sanctuary Oneshot! An old legend speaks of a hidden sanctuary within the Sablewood, once a haven for one of the Forgotten Gods. Recent signs and omens suggest that the sanctuary’s powers are reawakening, and various factions are interested in controlling it. Players must navigate the competing interests of these factions, ancient traps, and guardians left to protect the sanctuary. Their choices could lead to the restoration of the sanctuary as a force of good or its exploitation for darker purposes. Perfect for players who want a little bit more after playing the Sablewood Messanger's Playtest. As we will be playing Level 3 Characters. We'll be using Discord for voice and Demiplane for character sheets.

How to prepare

Here's a quick rundown of what you'll need to do to get all set: Install Discord: Discord is where all our chats and shenanigans will happen. If you haven't got it yet, download it and sign up at discord.com. Demiplane: Demiplane will be where we do character creation for Daggerheart characters. Mic & Quiet Spot: Make sure you've got a decent mic and headphones. And try to find a quiet space to play in to distractions down and the focus on the session. Roll20: We're using Roll20 for our maps and tokens. Just head over to roll20.net and sign up for free! And that's about it! With these few steps, you'll be all set to dive into the adventure. Can't wait to see what kind of trouble we get into!

To ensure everyone's comfort and safety during our game sessions, we employ several safety tools and practices. Here’s a breakdown of how we handle this: X, N, & O's: We use digital signals for our X (stop), N (pause or caution), and O (everything's okay) during the game. This can be through a private message to me or a signal in our group chat. It’s a discreet way to communicate comfort levels in real-time. Most Importantly I operate with an Open Door policy. I’m always open to feedback, whether about gameplay mechanics, narrative direction, or interpersonal dynamics. Let's keep the conversation open to ensure our game remains enjoyable and inclusive for all.

How will character creation work

Before coming to the session please create your character at level 3 using Demiplane. After joining the Discord please ping me and share your character sheet with me.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
