About the adventure
A hybrid game for 2-6 players on Discord featuring longform prose descriptions (play-by-post) and quick back and forth live play with the GM (in text) like you’d have at a table or vtt. “Dragon of Icespire Peak is the introductory adventure for the 5th Edition Starter Set, designed for PC levels 1 – 6. It is a complete sandbox adventure, and does not have a ridgid narrative structure. The basic story is that your heroes are adventurers for hire, travelling the countryside, completing various missions.” Source: https://gamenightblog.com/dragon-icespire-peak-campaign-resources/ Each Session should cover one mission (unless you get off track which is great) and the unintended consequences or other surprises which may arise and should take between 2-3 hours based on the content provided and I’m expecting to add another hour onto that, using the additional time to help shine a spotlight on the players. All games without exception require discussion containing but not limited to safety tools and content warnings before Session 1 may begin.

How to prepare
Create your characters before Session 1 and think about what might have brought you to a life of adventure, danger, and intrigue! Think of any questions you have for me and send them my way! I like to hit the ground running when the game starts.

How will character creation work
I’m happy to assist with character generation for true newbies to the game. I would suggest booking me in a Session 0 for your group where we can talk about how to play the game and go through character creation together, but I am available for hourly sessions if for example only one player wanted that service. If you just have simple questions you can dm them to me no problem. Character generation details are provided once you join the game.
