About the adventure

- Create your own House in the world of Game of Thrones - Manage your Resources and use your character to Strive for Greatness - Write your own Story and in a land tangled between Power and Honor Will you be ground beneath the heel of time? Or claw your way up a mountain of foes to achieve Greatness? This game will not hold back. We will wade through rivers dark with blood, draw wires around the throats of foes in the dark, and we need to be damn sure that our enemies will be doing the same. We'll be starting this game from the same starting point as the books and TV series. Robert Baratheon sits on the Iron Throne, but we won't be following the Stark family, we'll be following your own minor noble family on their ongoing quest for power, vengeance, wealth, control, or maybe even the Iron Throne itself. I'm going to be ignoring all of the events that took place in the show and writing our own story as we go. I'll be adding a few more magical elements and mythical creatures, but will be keeping the soft magic system and general aesthetic of the series. Session 0 will involve using the Song of Ice and Fire RPG system to build your family's house and characters. This is a very interactive process and makes sure that all players know the history of the house, where it stands, who leads it, and who it's enemies are.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need a Microphone, Webcam (optional), a free Roll20 Account, a free Discord account. Players should consider what role they want to play in the house; are they a negotiator, a knight, lady of the house pulling the strings, a house guard, an assassin, kennel master, maester, the choice is yours! Characters will be made on Roll20 itself with my guidance, so no further tools necessary!

What I provide

I will be managing The House character Sheet, the Discord, and laying out a detailed web of conspiracies and intentions of the other Houses of Westeros after the session 0 based on the Characters and their House. I also have a physical copy of the rule-book, dice, and music.

Gameplay details

Now if you aren't aware; George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series is steeped in violence, sexual acts, atrocities, and copious amounts of torture and gore. We can take breaks in play, but I will NOT be holding back any of these attributes. It is set apart from other series in it's very nature. If you're not prepared for the unflinching violence, torture, sex, and atrocities, please do not apply. Please go enjoy other games that don't focus on these aspects and enjoy your life. :)

How will character creation work

Session 0 will involve using the Song of Ice and Fire RPG system to build your family's house and characters. This is a very interactive process and makes sure that all players know the history of the house, where it stands, who leads it, and who it's enemies are. This will be a fairly long process, but involves everyone in the party rolling to determine the statistics and history of the house. The House itself is very much it's own character in that way.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
