About the adventure

Thousands of years ago something fell asleep and the world kept on spinning. When it stirred some twenty years ago, vibrations echoed silently and a small amount of spuls that felt it move through them were marked. Since then nightmares have plagued their every night. The dream is always the same, you alone standing there as something just out reach howls and roars. Whatever you do there is only one outcome, death. Waking up you can feel the pain of whatever disturbed your peaceful sleep rack against your body but find no marks or wounds. Over the years the deaths become more and more violent. They disturb your night so much so that a full night's sleep is a distant memory. You see things that aren't there or feel the breath of something on your neck in your waking hours. You have the ever growing feeling that something is trying to find you and once it does, the outcome of your nightmares will be a much kinder fate. One day you receive a letter detailing some of your most volatile nightmares as if the person who wrote it experienced it themselves. They wish to meet with you to discuss what can be done to stop this cycle you find yourself in. At the end of the letter there is no name, only a location, that after some expedient studying leads to a small little fishing village in Ustalav. The letter states a wagon will come to bring you to your destination and together maybe you can prevent the worst possible fate from occurring. Hello everyone! The Call of Devara is a campaign that has been near and dear to my heart for many years. It is a labor of love that I've put my everything into to create a hopefully exhilarating and horrific experience. It'll go from level 1 to level 10 using the Pathfinder 2e system and with the side content I have stocked up can go to level 14. It will take place all throughout Golarion. A true world spanning adventure to delve into the mysteries that exist just out of reach of normal means. Will you reclaim your life? Or will you find yourself a victim of The Call of Devara?

How to prepare

Mic and discord will be required for this game. If you wish to use a webcam please feel free as I will be using one myself. Come with your game face on or even your regular face. Faces are required

Expect: A fun and safe environment to enjoy the TTRPGs we enjoy and love to the fullest Foundry complete with music, maps, and the almighty math rock in the sky A discord server with private channels for the game

Gameplay details

First and foremost we will be using Free Archetype, Ancestry Paragon, and ABP variant rules for the campaign. Session 0 we will have a discussion of everyone's comfortability with what lies ahead for everyone, a brief overview of campaign themes and story, and then ending with character creation. Once you join the game send a message to me on here and I will send a invite to my discord server as soon as I am able. There will be a channel with the monte cook rpg checklist document ready for you to fill out.

How will character creation work

Pretty simple, everyone will start out at level one, we will go over details and creation at session 0 on foundry. Though if you wish to have something ready to discuss at session 0 character that is absolutely fine as well.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
