Everything must be perfect for the grand opening of Ravenland, no matter how many henchmen have to die to make it happen. In this adventure we will play through the classic campaign, Curse of Strahd. But this Strahd is... different. This is a Strahd that has never been told no in his very long life. After all, how could such a handsome, charming vamp.. immortal not be full of himself? Will our party be the ones to finally put him in his place? Or will they simply die trying to find the Churro stand? We will be playing weekly. Cancelled sessions and skipped weeks will be rare. When it does happen there will be as much notice as possible. We will begin with a session zero where will discuss player expectations, content limits, etc.

How to prepare

Your #1 priority is to have a working microphone, headset, and a stable internet connection. If you have those, I am always happy to help you through everything else. You will need access to Discord for voice chat. This can be on your computer or mobile device. Video chat is optional. You will need free accounts on dndbeyond.com and roll20.net. You can choose or build your character on DnD Beyond ahead of time if you like. It's optional, but I highly recommend that you install the browser extension, "Beyond20." It will make your life much easier by letting you use DnD Beyond, Roll20, and Discord together. If you need help getting any of these set up, please contact me and I will be glad to help you out.

What I provide

I will be providing a private Discord server, virtual maps and tokens via Roll20, and all D&D sourcebooks, which I can share with you on dndbeyond.com.

Gameplay details

Content will generally be PG-13 with a little veering into soft-R. Language may be a bit harder, this DM has a potty mouth. Gameplay should be a mix of combat, roleplay, and challenges with a slight lean towards tactical combat. This can be adjusted if the group prefers otherwise.

How will character creation work

The party will start at level one. Character Sheets will be hosted on DND Beyond. I will have pre-made characters available or you can make your own. You can build/choose ahead of time or wait until session 0. If you join later in th game, check Discord and/or DND Beyond for party level. If you choose to build your own you may use any official, published D&D material. No Unearthed Arcana or homebrew without prior approval. Use either Point Buy or Standard Array for abilities. If more than one player want to play the same class, we'll discuss how to make it work in session Zero. Generally it's fine as long as you pick a few different options, like sub-class or spell choices.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
