About the adventure

It has been a long time since the Galaxy has known peace. The conflict between the Empire and the Republic has been ongoing for as long as most can remember, headed by the conflicting values of the Jedi and the Sith. As the war rages on, in a daring operation, Republic spies infiltrate and destroy much of the Sith academy on Korriban. With much of the forces and military presence at the temple decimated, wildlife starts to move in to pick up the scraps, beast awaken from centuries of sleep, and other forces arrive that seek to take advantage of the crippled Sith. The Empire is forced to move outside resources to the academy, in a scramble to rebuild and re-secure the area. Recruiters are sent out to the far reaches of the Empires territory to bring in new apprentices. Soldiers and Engineers are sent to Korriban to ensure stability and help rebuild. And while the Jedi academy on Tython remains untouched, the Sith await their chance to take their revenge... The Heroes, being employed by Darth Zassa, are gathering crystal shards of ancient device that Zassa plans to use to find the location of an ancient civilization. The Heroes needing to gather a shard on Tython, and no longer wanting to be a pawn of this sith lord that plans to betray them, they head to Tython under the guise of needing refuge from the sith. As some begin to train under the Jedi, and others seek council and information, they begin to secretly look for the forth of the shards...

Additional Details

How to prepare

If we are playing remotely, a mic is required, but a webcam is preferred. You will need internet access as well to access foundry at a link I will provide when we start playing, as well as to access the sw5e site. Foundry does not require any download as it is web based. I welcome my players to use their own dice if they have them, or they can use the digital dice in Foundry.

What I provide

I will bring dice if everyone is local and willing to play in person. However if we are playing remote, personal dice are welcome, or you can use the digital dice in Foundry. I will provide in game handouts whether in person or digital. If we are playing in person, I will provide a Mini for each player they are welcome to keep when the campaign has ended, for digital games I will do my best to help players find a character art that fits their vision for their character. I will also provide skill/power cards for players for easier access

Gameplay details

This will be a fairly laid back Star Wars game set in the Old Republic era. We will start as various members of the Empire/Sith, but it will not necessarily be an evil campaign, but will change depending on the players decisions. I always encourage my player to touchbase with me about how they are feeling about the campaign and to let me know if I ever do anything that makes them uncomfortable. I want to make sure all my players feel safe and welcome at my table.
