About the adventure
Play it again for the first time using the new 2024 Player's Handbook! The D&D classic updated to 5e. The very first adventure many ever played. Included with the D&D Basic Box Set The Keep on the Borderlands introduced a generation of players to D&D. The story centers around the Keep, which coincidently, is on the Borderlands. There you begin your adventuring career and learn about the dangerous and hostile occupants of the untamed borderlands. You will develop and learn skills to aid you, and perhaps one day you will be strong enough to brave the legendary Caves of Chaos. The adventure is 50% role play, 50% wilderness hex crawl, 50% dungeon delve, and guaranteed 100% fun.

How to prepare

Players can create a character using D&D Beyond and shared 2024 Player's Handbook content. Characters start at 1st level using standard array Campaign Setting: Greyhawk We will use Session 0 for character creation and party composition.
