About the adventure

Dive into the world of the movie in this high-stakes adventure! You've been hired to infiltrate the prison Revel’s End and rendezvous with a particularly unruly prisoner. You must extract a specific vault key from the prisoner without getting caught. Time is ticking, so gather your ragtag crew, grab your lockpicks, and prepare to pull off the ultimate heist! About the game: This session is designed for players of all experience levels. If any player needs assistance with character creation, we can schedule a time before the session to work through building a character. There will also be pre-made characters available for anyone who would like to use one. It is possible to resolve this one-shot without combat, but there are opportunities for combat should the players wish to do so. The ratio of combat to roleplay is flexible and dependent on player actions.

How to prepare

You will need: - free discord account - device* with a microphone (webcam optional but not required) - free D&D Beyond account - the free Above VTT chrome extension *it is suggested that you use a device with a larger screen for both character creation and gameplay (i.e. tablet, laptop, computer) I will send players a link to the discord and the campaign on D&D Beyond, which they will use to create their own character during our session. The discord will also have a "dnd terms" channel which will list and explain common dnd terminology and abbreviations. You may choose to roll physical dice, but if you do not have any, there is a digital rolling mechanism on D&D Beyond.

You will have access to this source material on D&D Beyond when character building through the campaign.

Gameplay details

X, N, and O cards will be digitally messaged through discord. The game will have an open door policy. As a subset of that, any player may call a "timeout" at any point in the session if they need a short break. Stars and Wishes will be done through a discord channel, which players can access for several days after a session ends. A note about the content warnings below: This session will be run without extreme descriptions of violence. Any description of events will be PG-13 in nature. The content warnings given express anything that *could* occur in-session when considering the possible actions players could take. I will provide a list of definitive content warnings here (these will occur in the session). How will character creation work

Players can create their own level 4 character on D&D Beyond before the session begins! - Rolled Stats (roll 4d6 and add the highest 3) - Feats allowed - Average HP - Any background except Astral Drifter and Wildspacer - Starting Equipment - up to 2 additional standard non-magical weapons - one magical item up to uncommon rarity If any player needs assistance with character creation, we can schedule a time before the session to work through building a character. There will also be pre-made characters available for anyone who would like to use one.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
