How to prepare

You need some way of communicating with us via Discord. Any microphone will do, webcam is optional. Sign up for Owlbear Rodeo (free and browser-based) so we can share combat maps there! Most importantly, bring your excitement for the game, anything else we can figure out together at the table!

What I provide

I bring Discord with a high-quality microphone and webcam, Access to view the Planegea Sourcebook with character options via Google Drive, VTT maps for the adventures which we'll run via Owlbear Rodeo, pre-generated characters for those who need it, NPC voices and mannerisms, Clear rulings to keep the game, and facilitate heroic and cinematic actions instead of strict RAW (Rules as Written)

🍿 Cinematic, heroic action ⚔️ Deadly, challenging combats 🎭 Fun and dramatic roleplaying 😹 GOOD TIMES! 👌🏽SESSION ZERO.FIVE👌🏽 In our first session, we will create the party and start adventuring right away! 📆CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE📆 I suggest we play weekly on Sundays, but we can discuss different dates and times in our session zero! 🦄SAFETY TOOLS🦄 We'll discuss any content you might be uncomfortable with before the game, and I can 100% adjust the adventure to fit your needs. If during the game you find yourself uncomfortable with anything, anyone can say "Pause for a second!" and we will pause the game and address your concerns out-of-character immediately.

How will character creation work

🦹🏼‍♀️CREATE A CHARACTER!🦹🏼‍♀️ Characters begin at 9th level. Build your character in the first session, or come with a character sheet to the game! 🦕PLANEGEA CHARACTERS🦕 You can use the kinships, classes, subclasses, and backgrounds from Tasha's, Xanathar's, the Player's Handbook, Monsters of the Multiverse, and the Planegea sourcebook (link once you sign up). 🧙‍♀️ABILITY SCORES🧙‍♀️ You can use the Point Buy, or Standard Array for ability scores. 🔆MAGIC ITEM🔆 You start with 500 gp plus 1d10 × 25 gp, one uncommon magic item, normal starting equipment. 🧌CUSTOMIZE YOUR ORIGIN🧌 You can use the “Customizing Your Origin” and “Custom Lineage” rules from Tasha’s. 🗡️CHARACTER MOTIVATION🗡️ Whatever your character's background, make sure you make a character who works together with the other heroes to explore and survive Planegea as you unravel its mysteries.
