About the adventure

Farming is an honest living, but after hearing strangers in the tavern telling tales of fantastic beasts and treasure hoards piled with gold, jewels, and fantastic weapons and armors, this life pales in comparison to what you could seize for yourself as an adventurer! You have spent some time in the levees, so you know something of warfare, and are skilled enough with a bow to bring down the largest buck the town has seen one season, so why not? These passing adventurers were never clear as to exactly where this treasure is to be found, but after listening to enough of the stories these infrequent travelers boast of, you think you have figured out where to start. After packing a bag and selecting a nice spear to carry as a walking staff, you head west. Every journey begins with the first step. This is a custom campaign using most of the D&D 5e rules available in the core rulebooks. While there will be some outdoor adventure and travels, most of it should take place in dungeons and caverns where the players will negotiate traps, sneak past or fight monsters, and collect treasure and magic to eventually become heroes of the realm. Basically, this will be an adventuring-heavy dungeoncrawl, though there will be some opportunity for roleplaying and conversation.
